About Us
Plum Tree Center for Mindfulness provides a variety of programs and support for those seeking to live with clear awareness and kind presence in body, heart, and mind.
Our classes include Mindful Self-Compassion, Making Friends with Yourself (Teen and Pre-Teen Mindfulness), Mindful Parenting, Family Mindfulness Programs, Teacher Trainings, and ongoing Meditation groups.

Melanie Luedders
Melanie has worked with children, parents, and teachers in the Northwest for the last 30 years. She is the Director of Plum Tree Center for Mindfulness as well as the Director of Plum Tree School and the Spokane Community Choir.
Melanie holds an MA in Education and is an adjunct professor at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. in the Integrated Teaching of the Arts Masters program.
Melanie has completed the Mindful Self-Compassion teacher training for adult classes and for teen classes at the UC San Diego Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.
